Anticoagulant-Induced Thrombosis
Article Abstract:
Doctors can use several strategies to prevent abnormal blood clotting in patients who take anticoagulants. Anticoagulants are drugs that prevent blood clotting but they can also cause blood clotting. This occurs when they block other proteins that prevent blood clotting. They can also increase the production of thrombin, which is the major protein involved in blood clotting. This does not occur often, because the most common side effect of anticoagulants is excessive bleeding. Doctors can use anticoagulants that do not increase thrombin production.

Article Abstract:
All eye injuries are potentially serious, so it is very important to treat them correctly. Initial treatment must concentrate on preventing further damage, and no attempt should be made to remove anything from the eye. Both eyes should be kept as still as possible, and the casualty should be taken to hospital after an eyepad or sterile dressing has been applied. If the eye has been damaged with chemicals, the eye should be held under running cold water for at least 10 minutes.

The quixotic fallacy
Article Abstract:
Confusing life with fiction, also known as the quixotic fallacy, demonstrates the power of fiction to represent reality. When this error appears in American culture, it indicates concern about readers' behavior. Leonora Sansay's 'Laura' is the earliest example of such a portrayal.
