Staff plan more action

Article Abstract:

BBC staff and The National Union of Journalists and broadcasting union Bectu planned a protest against government interference in BBC, with a call to bring back Greg Dyke, the former director general of BBC who was forced to resign on 29th January 2004. BBC staff showed their solidarity by putting an advertisement in the Daily Telegraph, which stated that Greg Dyke stood for brave, independent BBC journalism that was fearless in its search for the truth.

In the shadow of Dyke: Byford steps forward
