Canadian authors, writing in English, are enjoying a surge in popularity, and the potential for bestsellers in the Fall 1997 season is hopeful from among the plentiful number of books being published. Among the many books listed are Mordecai Richler's 'Barney's Vision.' and Carol Shield's 'Larry's Party.'
