Approximately 55 million people in the US have some sort of sexually transmitted disease. Genital herpes, genital warts, trichomoniasis, chlamydia, hepatitis B and AIDS are discussed. Being aware of one's partner's sexual history and using condoms are discussed.

Doctors can now treat peptic ulcers with antibiotics with a 70% success rate. Researchers have discovered that ulcers are caused by the bacteria Helicobacter pylori. The treatment should make ulcer a rare disease in the future.
