Article Abstract:
Tom Conti won a Swet (now Olivier) Award and a Tony Ward on Broadway for his portrayal of a paraplegic man in "Whose Life Is It Anyway?" Someone had suggested that Conti imagined a man in the audience with a gun in order to keep an edge to his performance. Conti dismisses the rumour and argues that the characters he plays do not interfere with how he conduct is professional or personal life.
