Bell Canada employees set to strike
Article Abstract:
Bell Canada is facing a possible full strike by 9,500 technicians and operators. The employees are protesting the company's plan to relocate 1,400 operators and require them to accept a pay reduction as part of a new operator-service company being formed with Excell Global Services of Arizona. The company has proposed a 12% wage increase for its 7,200 technicians over a five year-contract, which was voted down by 73% of the employees.
