Glencore International, a commodity trading house based in Switzerland, is floating Enex Resources, its coal-mining operation, in a deal valued at A$3.3 billion to A$4.1 billion. It appears that the profit that Glencore will make from the sale of its coal division will be larger than all the profits made by the whole Australian coal industry over the last 10 years.
