The shareholders of Boral, a building materials company, will be asked to consider 12 special resolutions including a resolution concerned with worker safety in its annual general meeting in Sydney, Australia on October 21, 2003. The resolution is put by a group of 120 truck drivers contracted to Boral who have each purchased share parcels to raise their concerns and it seeks to establish a health and safety sub-committee of Boral's board.
