The Internet has much more freedom in what it can present than traditional media does. The coverage of US president Bill Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinski on television and in the newspapers was restrained compared to its graphic presentation on the Internet. There are products to block access to objectionable Internet sites, but the technology filters out too much.
