Cardiovascular risk in Hispanic and non-Hispanic preschoolers
Article Abstract:
Modifiable and non-modifiable cardiovascular risk factors are identified in low-income preschool children. Results show that 90 percent of identified cardiovascular risk factors in presumably healthy preschoolers and those of Hispanic ethnicity, which provided evidence to support testing of interventions that can improve health behaviors and reduce risks.

Infant sleep positioning by nursery staff and mothers in newborn hospital nurseries
Article Abstract:
Newborn's sleeping position by mothers' and nursery staff is assessed to reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Exclusive supine sleep position is recommended, and mothers and nursery staff are educated about it.
