Clones on the range

Article Abstract:

The BMW 3 series successfully combines originality and purposefulness with style. That likely explains why about 2.5 mil of the sedans, coupes, convertibles and wagons have been sold in the world since 1990. The series has been in production almost 8 years and accounts for 59% of the company's total production volume. The all-new 3 series sedan made its world debut in Mar 1998 at the Melbourne Motor show. It is a little longer and wider than the predecessor but has the same kind of performance and handling, driver-oriented.

Wheeling and dealing: luxury motoring has its price but there are still wise buys

Article Abstract:

Buying a luxury car is expensive, but there are cars that are wise investments. Mercedes-Benz cars have traditionally retained their value, and the best value in 1998 is given to the ML-class. Porsche 911 is another best buy that is expensive but classic. BMW's M Roadster will have a good resale and is also easily available. Volvo is also coming out with its new C70 coupe that is limited worldwide and priced around $90,000.
