Dawn of a partnership

Article Abstract:

British and African academics should collaborate to change the focus of African studies towards a more intellectual and social approach since British universities are globally recognized for their specialist knowledge of Africa. A new interdisciplinary approach could examine the issues of migration, debt and violence, while considering regional political ambitions and the social impact of demographic changes. Education programmes in Africa should also be improved via studies conducted in the UK.
