INDIA: PCCW BUYS PACIFIC NETINVEST

Pacific Century CyberWorks (PCCW) is planning to buy a 49% stake in Pacific Netinvest (PNI) at US$ 948,663 from one of its majority shareholder Siddhartha Ray. PCCW is also interested in acquiring Data Access which will be the provider of Network of the World (NOW) and Cyberworks' Internet service in India.
