Long day's film journey: a revered stage production gets adapted to the big screen

Director David Wellington finished filming the screen version of the play 'Long Day's Journey into Night' on Dec 30, 1995, and plans to release it in spring 1996. The film stars William Hutt, Martha Henry and Tom McCamus. The play had a successful two-season run at the Stratford Festival.
