Mind gains
Article Abstract:
Research suggests that the mind has the ability to delay death until after important goals such as anniversaries are celebrated. Fran Boyle, who believes her father delayed his death to see his children, contends she sees this phenomenon take place everyday at her consulting office in Sydney, Australia. Nurses and doctors have also witnessed this in that death rates decrease around religious and cultural festivals but increase after these events.
