Frank Sinatra has left a definitive mark on the world of music. Sinatra did versions of many popular songs so well that the songs were considered as part of his domain. His true success came in his forties, when the initial heartthrob fad had worn off. Sinatra was very technical in his approach to singing and had a natural flair for music.

Bud's bubble; the pianist Bud Powell was mad even by bebop's standards

Bud Powell led the bebop movement with his abstract rhythms and harmonies and his ability to keep tempo with bass and drums with his left hand. His music seemed to reflect his emotional state with its insane and mad qualities and with Powell's history of nervous breakdowns.
