New hopes, longer life
Article Abstract:
The research breakthroughs in treatment of breast cancer and ovarian cancer, which are boosting hopes and improving survival rates for women facing this type of cancer, are reported. The targeted drugs like harcaptin and the aromatase inhibitors are proving effective for early-stage as well as advanced breast cancer and more than 60 breast-cancer drug trials are underway, with more potential treatments in the pipeline.
