Not bombs but 'Baywatch': when facing dictators, democracies need to find policies that contain and contaminate
Article Abstract:
Modern democracies are at ease with each other but they find it difficult to make peace with a dictator such as Saddam Hussein. Article Abstract:

A new generation draws the line
Article Abstract:
Appeasing dictators did not work with Adolf Hitler and will not work with Slobodan Milosevic. It was right to give negotiations a chance in the Kosovo situation. In Bosnia the UN waited 4 years before acting, costing 200,000 lives. The same mistake must not be made in Kosovo. NATO must fight against dictators who inflict cruelty on their people.
