High-profile corporate lawyer John McGuigan's cooperation with internet company Spike provides an indication of future investment decisions for traditional businesses. Electronic commerce will dramatically change how business will be conducted. Spike has been hired by major industries to creates web sites directed to youth. Spike was looking for financing in the US when McGuigan became interested in forming a group that could invest in it.
