New mothers may be pressured to resume sexual relations too soon. Health professionals encourage an early return to normality after childbirth. However, many women have no inclination for sex. Guilt feelings prompt many to resume sexual relations before they are ready. However, a woman's disinclination for sex may be a natural reaction to childbirth. Other aspects of marital relationships could develop in the post-natal period.

The use of stem cells extracted from embryos to treat conditions such as cancer and Alzheimer's disease is supported by 72% of people in Australia, 66% in New Zealand, 63% in the US and 62% in the UK, according to a study by Roy Morgan International. Most people in each country were found to support the donation of excess embryos to research.

One step beyond
Article Abstract:
The agony and guilt experienced by step-parents in bringing up step-children are analyzed. The step-parents are looked upon with mistrust within and outside the family, and it is only hope, and lessons in change, adjustment, tolerance and perhaps love that can keep these families going.
