Middle-aged corporate employees are exploring all sorts of outside activities in an effort to feel challenged and alive. Downsizing and changes in the corporate culture have created a whole generation of dissatisfied workers who are looking to hobbies for emotional satisfaction.

The Trans-Canada Trail will provide a host of recreational opportunities for Canadians who want to traverse all or part of the trail. However, it also has the potential to provoke complaints, such as disputes between snowmobilers and equestrians.
