Royal revival
Article Abstract:
The death of Diana, Princess of Wales, may have stabilized the British monarchy. Although initially distant, royals flew the flag at half mast at Buckingham Palace, the Queen spoke publicly of her grief, and Prince Charles visited Africa with his younger son. People in the UK do not see the crown ending in the foreseeable future. The Queen will probably die without retiring, and the monarchy will continue.
