Don't forget the workers
Article Abstract:
Hansenne, former labor minister in Belgium, discusses issues concerning the world economy, ranging from the impact of Asian financial crises on world markets to child and prison labor. He is concerned that the current crises in Asia will lead to increased exploitation of children and other voiceless groups by industry. Globalization has been positive for Asia, but also highlights disparities between first-world and developing nations.
