A 30-year-old Sea King helicopter, Shark 02, attached to the ship, HMAS Kanimbla, inexplicably crashed while on a return humanitarian mission to the tsunami ravaged region of Indonesia, killing nine personnel, including the two pilots. A military board of inquiry will investigate the incident and probe whether overwork and stress contributed to the crash.
