Slow Food Movement: The Slow food advocates question misleading food labels
Article Abstract:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA's) allowing large organic dairy companies to violate the requirements for pasture access to animals and labeling the beef as grass-fed has become a controversial issue. Slow Food Advocates have questioned the labeling issue stating that such farming constitutes industrial organic farming, and is not much more environmentally friendly than conventional industrial farming.
