Strategic Counsel Inc conducted a telephone survey of 1,500 Canadians from Nov 21-28, 1996. The poll contacted people in every province, but excluded the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. The results are presented. Issues covered include politics, immigration, lifestyles and attitudes.

Surprising returns
