Racial pride and prejudice
Article Abstract:
It would be a very significant development if the British National Party (BNP) managed to produce one MEP in the European elections in Jun 1999, according to Nick Griffin, the party's leader-elect. He is seeking to boost the party's profile and to make it more acceptable to ordinary people. He acknowledges that he has formed some misguided political allegiances in the past, and recognizes that his more extreme views should not form part of official BNP policy.
