Contrary to the common belief that global warming would result in a warmer world, it is actually causing an enormous climate shift in the South Atlantic. Warming has possibly changed ocean circulation so that coldwater currents are thousands of miles off course, and if the warming Atlantic Ocean currents do not reach northern Eruope, the temperatures could drop by 20 degrees.

The moral and ethical questions that surround stem cell research are being battled out between researchers and pro-life activists. Embryonic stem cell research has led to the possibility of solutions to all types of major medical problems, but right-to-life believers see the stem cells as the beginnings of human life that cannot be destroyed, whatever the reason.

Children of the ice
Article Abstract:
The mummified remains of 3 children sacrificed around 500 years ago were found on Mounts Llullaillaco in Argentina in Mar, 1999. The mummies were perfectly preserved due to the cold and lack of oxygen. The children had been given corn liquor to put them to sleep and were left on the mountain.
