George Brown, Prime Television's CEO, calls his $A100-million purchase of the Canal Nueve/Channel Nine in Buenos Aires a 'great buy'. Channel Nine self-produces 80% of its air content from eight huge production studios. The studio complex could allow Brown to make Prime Television the predominant producer in Latin America, despite Channel Nine's recent sliding ratings.
