The unnatural gas monopoly

The Australian government and a gas reform group have invited the big gas production monopolies to write their own self-regulation code for competitor access to their processing facilities. They may face government regulation unless they self-impose some form of basic regulations. The Australian Gas Association estimates that these restrictions could impose additional cost on consumers.
