The economic boom in the US is changing attitudes towards work, money, and the pursuit of the American Dream. The popularity and relative ease of trading on the stock market has undermined the belief in a hard work ethic and has caused many in the workforce to feel bitter that they have not garnered the overnight success of their peers. More than 60% of Americans feel that they've missed the boom, and 72% feel increasing social pressure to make more money.
