They've Dedicated Their Lives to God
Article Abstract:
Many nuns today spent their youth in secular ways. Some women go through a difficult personal journey before deciding to become a nun. The Catholic Church recruits women through Web sites and e-mail, with volunteer programs giving women a chance to experience the church community. All nun orders vary widely. Some don't want to use technology and others do. In addition, some women change their names, and some don't.
