Article Abstract:
ABC, for the second straight year, has launched a yellow advertising campaign to promote television watching. The network used billboards, bus kiosks, umbrellas and beach barrels to get the message across to consumers nationwide. ABC also took note of the criticisms on its campaign in 1997 and has earned a good rating from USA TODAY's Ad Track, with the majority of supporters belonging to the 18- to 24-year-old range. The promotion is considered as the biggest campaign ever undertaken by a broadcast network.
