The rich history and charm of the Italian city of Genoa is described. The city was once a mecca for tourists and served as inspiration to many writers, including Gustave Flaubert and Henry James. The offerings of this beautiful port town are given as well as its ancient abundant buildings which creates a charming backdrop. Also provided are activities of interest in the surrounding areas of the city.
