Xinex fails to get cash lifesaver
Article Abstract:
Xinex Networks Inc., a company based in New WestMinster in British Columbia, Canada, has become more financially-troubled after it failed to secure a maximum of C$3.1 million in additional investments. Xinex president and chief executive officer Roy Leahy stressed that the venture capital company Helix Investments Canada Inc. of Toronto in Ontario, Canada, had expressed an openness in providing $1.5 million of the needed amount but did not since the other potential investors did not agree to produce the rest. Xinex needs the money since its new product called Vortex, which delivers data and voice transmissions via one network using established office telephone lines, has not generated the sales that could offset previous expenses.
