Foster Wheeler repositions
Article Abstract:
Foster Wheeler has announced it will reposition Power Systems Group, its operations that specializes in building and operating waste-to-energy facilities, and charge $175 million on its third quarter results to pay for its Robins Resource Recovery Facility. The repositioning move calls for Power Systems to freeze all energy projects in the US and reduce annual overhead costs by around 50% to $7.5 million. The charge related to the Robbins Resource facility, on the other hand, covers the $75.6 million that the company will pay for corporate guarantees and credit support on the bonds.
