Business ethics and the challenge of the Information Age
Article Abstract:
Issues regarding the effect of automation on business and business ethics are discussed. Increased danger to privacy and using more easily obtained information for control and manipulation are all possibilities. The computer is entering more realms of business and leaving none of them unchanged. Other business ethics issues come to mind with the analysis if these key concepts.

Business ethics: oxymoron or good business?
Article Abstract:
Issues regarding the criticism that business ethics is a contradiction in terms are discussed. Ethics and business are incompatible if business leads inevitable to the pursuit of self-interest, or increased profit. The focus of business ethics should be to hold out an aspiration to bring business into accord with the aspirations of justice.

Legally targeting gun makers: lessons for business ethics

Issues regarding the needed cooperation of civil law and ethics to bring the firearms industry under control are discussed. Business ethicists are needed to help form legal standards in this area and in turn, emerging concepts in manufacturers' liability can contribute to the teaching of business ethics.
