The effect of organizational forces on individual morality: judgment, moral approbation, and behavior

Article Abstract:

Moral approbation offers a viable solution for the understanding of the connection between moral judgment and moral action. Human beings require human approval from their referent groups and organizations play a vital role in the gaining of the approval. Organizational forces can affect the factors that individuals employ in determining the level of their moral responsibility, which is a key determinant of the moral approbation that they expect to receive.

Corporate moral responsibility: when it might matter

Article Abstract:

The forces springing from socialization processes that people undergo in groups that diminish personal responsibility, when corporate responsibility exists, are identified and discussed.
