Shriver's "Ethic for Enemies": implications for business research
Article Abstract:
Morality in politics is the key theme of Donald W. Shriver Jr.'s book 'Ethic for Enemies.' He claims that rich theological traditions can be applied to subjects normally handled from totally secular points of view. The themes he presents are relevant not only to the political arena but also to other institutional rivalries. He addresses institutional forgiveness in the virtue ethic, pedagogical difficulties related to the teachability of this subject and the appropriateness of calling on adversaries to forgive.

Feminist morality and competitive reality: a role for an ethic of care?
Article Abstract:
Businesses have realized that they have to care for their customers to be able to survive in the current marketplace. Hence, concepts of feminist morality based on the idea of caring can be of great importance in business enterprises. However, the application of the principle of a caring organization may just be a transient fad which is not consistent with the ethical principles of a caring organization.
