Many New Yorkers purchase rural properties which offer them a peaceful retreat from the bustle of city life. The Pocono Mountains are the choice of many of them and a description of the character, natural beauty and facilities of this area of Pennsylvania is presented.

The town of Easton, PA, is situated at the juncture of the Lehigh and Delaware Rivers. Its Crayola Factory attracts many visitors. The south side of Bethlehem, PA, has Lehigh University, while the north side has attractive houses and shops.
