Toll Brothers, builders of mass-produced luxury houses, had their annual revenue jump from $177 million in 1991 to $1.8 billion 10 years later. Although architects and architecture critics find the Toll Brothers houses ostentatious and vulgar, the homes are very popular with the public, and the company building in 20 states across the US.
