Philadelphia-area high school seniors, Chris Barrett and Luke McCabe, have received national press because they have made it known that they are looking for corporate sponsorship to pay for theur college education, in return for promotion. The two seniors discuss with Philadelphia magazine what they could do in terms of sponsorship for a donation of $100.

A year spent visiting a nursing home is described. Those in the nursing home defied generalization, except that they were mostly elderly and for various reasons could no longer manage living at home. The story, as it developed, was not so much about aging, but about love.
