India-Nepal relations: continuity and change
Article Abstract:
Friendly relations between India and Nepal can be beneficial to both countries. With the resurgence of the multi-party system in Nepal and the recent development in world events, India may have to reexamine its foreign policy. The prospect of a strong bilateral relations could mean a stronger presence for India in the Asian continent and a better economy for Nepal. Leaders of both countries should also cast aside doubts and mistrust if they are to establish better relations.

Money politics and political mobilization in Macau: the 1996 legislative assembly elections
Article Abstract:
Macau's 1996 Legislative Assembly elections are significant because elected legislators will become members of the first Legislative Assembly in the Macau Special Administrative Region when the Portuguese colony reverts to Chinese rule in Dec 1999. The event is also important because of the record number of registered candidates and political parties established, the unprecedented voter turnout, and the vital role played by money politics in determining elections results.
