"The Hair That Wasn't There Before": Demystifying monstrosity and menstruation in ginger snaps and ginger snaps unleashed
Article Abstract:
The Ginger snaps trilogy that was a cycle of werewolf films in Canada between 2000 and 2004 and had tradition in werewolf folklore and nontraditional representation of female sexuality is discussed. The films present a version of female sexuality that was both monstrous and menstruous in which werewolfs were created to suit urban modern environments.
