A new daytime dawns

Article Abstract:

Daytime television has traditionally been viewed only by limited segments of the population in the UK, particularly pensioners and the unemployed. However, it is now taking on a new image and seeking wider audiences. Research has found that it is now attracting younger, more intelligent viewers, and it is changing to suit their tastes. Programmes are becoming more varied, and concessions are being made to less mainstream views.

Hand in hand through their park life

Article Abstract:

Many different social groups come together in British parks, reflecting many varying attitudes. Many observers now criticise park culture, claiming that parks have become a haven for hooligans and the emotionally disturbed. They also suffer from under-funding and inadequate policing. However, they still attract large crowds, bringing down social barriers.

Deep in the forest, nothing stirred

Article Abstract:

Theatre company Brith Gof has become renowned for putting on productions in unusual locations, aiming to attract people who do not like attending conventional theatres. Its latest production, 'Tri Bywyd,' is a ghost story set in a clearing in a forest. The environment is certainly attractive, but the play itself is of only mediocre quality.
