Al-Qa'ida bought anthrax spores, claims informer

Article Abstract:

Ahmad Ibrahim al-Naijar, a supporter of terrorist leader Osama bin Laden, has informed the authorities in Egypt that bin Laden's Al-Qa'ida network openly purchased anthrax spores and other biological agents in Asia and eastern Europe. FBI investigations into the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon are uncovering significant terrorist activity in Egypt.

Putin lines up with Nato as US presents 'proof.'

Russian President Vladimir Putin has given his country's support to the US-led coalition against Afghanistan. Nato has indicated that the US has provided strong evidence that the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon were connected with Afghanistan's Taliban regime and the al-Qa'ida network run by Osama bin Laden.

Council of clerics tells bin Laden to leave the country

Article Abstract:

A council of Islamic scholars has called on Osama bin Laden, the key suspect for the terrorist attacks in the US, to leave Afghanistan. It is very unlikely that Afghanistan's Taliban regime would send bin Laden to any country that would arrest him.
