Crossing the Tiber, after Luton

Article Abstract:

It is now possible to fly directly from Luton, England, to Perugia, Italy, with Debonair. However, the return flight must take place from Rome, Italy. There are a number of possible routes between the two cities. It is worth considering travelling via Assisi, Italy, which is relatively free of tourists following a devastating earthquake in 1997. Other attractive places on the route between Perugia and Rome include Trevi, Italy, Spoleto, Italy, and the towns of Anguillara, Trevignano and Bracciano, Italy, around Lake Bracciano.
