Dr Ben Burns

Neuroscientist Ben Burns was born in London, England, in 1915. He studied physics and chemistry at Tubingen University, Germany, before reading Natural Sciences at King's College, Cambridge, England. He qualified in 1939 after the second world war joined the National Institute for Medical Research.

Farewell my lovely City of Angels

Raymond Chandler was strongly attracted to Los Angeles, CA, only writing two stories set outside this city. He lived in many different places within Los Angeles and presented various locations, including Angel's Flight, in his work.
