Hard life of the royal snappers

Article Abstract:

Princess Diana has been taking an increasingly confrontational attitude towards photographers recently, especially those who lie in wait for her every morning at the Chelsea Harbour Club, a fitness centre where she goes to work out. Indeed, one amateur photographer who took his interest in Princess Diana to extremes was served with an injunction banning him from coming within 300 years of her. She is keen to be photographed when she is looking at her best, but at other times does not welcome the attention of photographers.

The Royal Opera House

Article Abstract:

The board of the Royal Opera House has for many years played a dominant role in the British Establishment. Members of the old Establishment have become very adept at making changes in order to survive, and this is reflected in developments in the composition of the Royal Opera House board since the early 1980s. However, the board is still made up of people with aristocratic connections and people who are extremely wealthy, indicating that the old Establishment will never really be truly eliminated.

Five cities set up for a battle royal

Article Abstract:

A decision must soon be made about whether to locate the UK's new national stadium in Manchester, Sheffield, Bradford, Birmingham or Wembley. The team planning the project has already visited all the potential sites, and final interviews are now being undertaken. Leading figures from the world of football will have considerable influence over the final decision, and all the proposals submitted, with the exception of Bradford, show strong signs of having been strongly influenced by this.
