Parts of south London, England, which have traditionally not been very popular with house purchasers are now beginning to see improved fortunes. Purchasers are starting to realize that Peckham, for example, offers reasonably low house prices and good transport links to the centre of the city. There is also growing interest in properties in Deptford, which is set to benefit from new transport links. Other areas attracting interest include Sydenham and Leytonstone.
